Milo Story

Milo isn't my real name. It's the name I chose so I can speak openly about my gambling addiction, the shame that comes with it, and the difficult process of rebuilding my life after falling into debt. Behind this pseudonym is a real person who made mistakes, ignored warning signs, and had to face the consequences. This site documents my recovery journey step by step โ€” the setbacks, the lessons, and the progress. My hope is that by sharing my story honestly, someone else who feels trapped in the same cycle might realize they are not alone and that change is possible.

Milo More about him

  • 24 years old
  • English
  • Game: Blackjack
  • Company: Cloudbet
  • Reason for debt: I didn't stop playing when I should have. What started as small bets slowly turned into larger risks as I tried to win back my losses
  • Gambling reason: The first time I gambled it was just for fun and to fill some empty time. I never expected it to become a habit. Over time, it slowly turned into something I relied on, until one day I realized it had become a problem. Now I mostly feel regret, but also determination to fix what I can
